Seems like the mass murdering serial killer communist traitor (all those objective labels are well deserved and verified by many people) John Kerry is desperately trying to link criticism of his questionable "service" in Vietnam with criticism of his even more questionable voting record.
This is in order to make the dubious rhetorical brainwashing link that criticizing his voting record is like criticizing American soldiers. Incidentally, was his service in Vietnam to commies? Because that fucker sure wasn't fighting on our side.

The only thing more treasonous that the scum John Kerry, is the tv media right-left axis of evil. The media makes it perfectly clear, at the point of a gun, that I must accept the insulting hypothesis that Kerry did something useful in Vietnam. If Kerry was a war hero, it literally makes 95% of the other Vietnam veterans war criminals. That's how big the divide between Kerry and those veterans is. The holier than thou elitist actually called 95% of vietnam vets "war criminals" too, BTW. Only now he needs to pretend he's on their side.

I'm not so much upset that he voted against big government republican defense programs consistently. I am upset at his consistently communist ratings as determined by many many interest groups. Here is the scoop. Some excerpts:

The "liberal" side:

2003 On the votes that the National Committee for an Effective Congress considered to be the most important in the first quarter of 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 100 percent of the time.

2003 On the votes that the U.S. Public Interest Research Group considered to be the most important in 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 95 percent of the time.

2003 On the votes that the Friends Comm. on Nat'l Leg. considered to be the most important in 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 100 percent of the time.

The "Against big spending assholes who are compassionate to their cronies with money they steal at the point of a gun side":

Here is a doozy: Public Citizen's Congress Watch: Congressional lobby representing consumer interests, specifically citizens' access to government decisionmaking, campaign finance reform, the S & L crisis, consumer class actions, food and product safety, and protection of public health through environmental legislation.

2003 On the votes that the Public Citizen's Congress Watch considered to be the most important in 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 27 percent of the time.

2001-2002 On the votes that the League of Private Property Voters considered to be the most important in 2001-2002, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 0 percent of the time.

2003 On the votes that the Americans for Tax Reform considered to be the most important in 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 0 percent of the time.

2002 On the votes that the Americans for Tax Reform considered to be the most important in 2002, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 10 percent of the time.

2002 According to the National Taxpayers Union, in 2002 Senator Kerry, on ALL votes dealing with spending, voted to reduce or not increase spending 18 percent of the time.

2002 On the votes that the Citizens Against Government Waste considered to be the most important in 2002, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 13 percent of the time.

The "conservative" side:

2003 On the votes that the Christian Coalition considered to be the most important in 2003 , Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 0 percent of the time.

2003 On the votes that the Eagle Forum considered to be the most important in 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 0 percent of the time.

2003 On the votes that the Campaign for Working Families considered to be the most important in 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 7 percent of the time.

2003 On the votes that the American Conservative Union considered to be the most important in 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 13 percent of the time.

BTW, I encourage everyone to look at the ratings these interest groups assign - you will see that what looks like the majority of democrats and republicans get a wide range of ratings. In other words, its only a very few assholes in congress that are Hitler saluting group think partisans. Kerry is one of them. As further information, you can examine the ratings of my hero: the libertarian Ron Paul.
Taking all of those facts into account you will see that the partisan conservative groups are about 25% communist (usually on social issues), while the partisan liberal groups are about 60% communist (usually on economic issues). I'm not for or against republicans or democrats. They are empty-shell ego parties filled by the people that make them up. But the hypocrisy of individuals WILL NOT BE IGNORED.

Who is a divisive communist asshole now? John Kerry, that's who. And he's been that way for the last 30 years too.

As an interesting aside, Greg Easterbrook says Kerry's position on Vietnam may mirror the beliefs of Americans:

Pundits of the left and right are now engaged in tormented disputes about the nuances of Kerry's Vietnam statements and actions more than 30 years ago, but this misses the big picture. The big picture is that Kerry thought the war was wrong but went anyway because he felt it was his duty. Millions of Americans have a friend or family member who hated the Vietnam War but served. Trying to sort out the good and bad of Vietnam in their minds, large numbers of Americans seem to have come to the conclusion that it was a bad war but those who served should be admired. This is a powerful, basic point in Kerry's favor, and commentators seem to be missing it.

Even though the broad picture may be the same, the devil is in the details. And the details say
John Kerry is a mass murdering serial killing war criminal commie.

The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie,
deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth,
persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.
